Is it normal if my heat press for hats produces an odor during use? What should I do? When I first used my hat press, it emitted a similar odor. The seller assured me it was normal and would fade with more use. After testing it, I found that the smell lessened over time. Opening windows for ventilation also helped.

Does the fact that the seller includes gloves mean that the hat heat press gets really hot during use? During use, I did not find the hat press machine to be excessively hot. While there is some heat generated, the thoughtful seller provides gloves to prevent any burns.
